Zumba is a group fitness class led by an instructor in which aerobic exercises combined with basic dance steps are performed to the rhythm of music, initially Latin (merengue, reggaeton, cumbia, and salsa) today, Zumba has added rhythms from all over the world. Like, flamenco, bhangra, hip hop, African rhythms, soca, and samba, etc.. With the goals to exercise, burn calories, generate happiness, and create exercise habits in a fun way.
There are three main components of the BMS workout: body, mind, and spirit. Fitness is achieved by combining these three elements. What makes BMS unique is integrating these elements creatively disguised in a workout format, designed to target fitness goals and connect with your spirit.
Class begins with breathing exercises and a setting your intention related to the energy vortex or chakra related to the area you are working on.
We follow up with warmup, fitness routine, coordination, and memory exercise through dance, stretching, and ending with a short meditation.
Dancesoul combines listening, feeling, and enjoying the music and dance steps. Dancesoul is tailored to all levels. Dance is a catalyst for healing, change, and wholeness, by incorporating your body to the music's rhythm, trending choreography to follow along with the dance steps. As a result, participants can follow along a perform a dance combo- feel like performers. The class promotes mind-body connection, emotional release, and physical benefit.
